HR Duties:

Design and develop 3D models of utility truck assemblies according to customer requirements and engineering specifications. Create accurate and detailed technical drawings, including proper dimensions, tolerances, and annotations. Manage design schedules and priorities to ensure project milestones and customer deadlines are met. Update and maintain part numbering and naming conventions in support of ERP system implementation and data standardization efforts. Review and revise existing drawings, models, and documentation for accuracy and consistency. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing costs, improving manufacturability, and increasing installation efficiency. Assist with special design, modeling, and drafting projects as assigned. Collaborate with customers, engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to resolve design questions and support project requirements. Utilize measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure design accuracy. Maintain engineering documentation and support product data management activities. Follow company quality standards, engineering procedures, and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field. Two (2) or more years of mechanical design, drafting, or related experience , or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling and technical drawing creation. Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Beginner to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Sage 100, and Adobe applications. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams. Ability to work effectively in small group and team environments. Experience with engineering change management, part numbering systems, and ERP environments is a plus. Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed. What does Express offer to you? ? Weekly paychecks!
