Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our innovative design team. Duties Develop accurate drawings, schematics, and detailed construction documents using AutoCAD and other CAD software. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into precise technical drawings aligned with project specifications. Conduct building code analysis and ensure all drawings meet local building regulations and standards for code compliance. Prepare construction detail documentation that clearly communicates design intent for fabrication and installation purposes. Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all documentation. Support the drafting team in maintaining organized CAD files, version control, and project archives for seamless workflow continuity. Requirements Proven experience with CAD software Knowledge of construction detail documentation and construction experience is a significant plus. Ability to perform building code analysis to ensure designs meet regulatory standards. Experience with BIM tools for integrated project delivery and system design workflows. Proficiency in drafting techniques related to engineering CAD design, mechanical design, interior design or graphic design is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for effective collaboration across disciplines. Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) processes and construction schematics is preferred.
