Cabinetry & Millwork Drafter William & Lowell — Waukesha/Brookfield, WI Full‑time | On‑site |

$62,000+ ( Flexible scale - Based on Experience) About Us William & Lowell is a custom cabinetry and millwork shop serving high-end residential remodeling clients throughout the greater Milwaukee area. We are known for elevated design and exceptional craftsmanship. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Cabinetry & Millwork Drafter with proficiency in Cabinet Vision or similar CAD software. This role is responsible for turning design concepts into engineered shop drawings and supporting projects from submittal through installation. You will work closely with designers, production teams, and installation crews to ensure every project is accurate, buildable, and delivered on schedule. Qualifications 5+ years of cabinetry drafting, millwork, or related experience Proficiency in Cabinet Vision (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar CAD/CAM software) Strong understanding of woodworking materials and cabinet construction Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings Excellent communication, organization, quality control, and problem‑solving skills Background in Engineering, Drafting, Residential Design, or related field ResponsibilitiesDrafting & Engineering Produce detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings, shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC‑ready files Create and maintain CAD/CAM files and bills of material (BOMs) Engineer cabinetry to meet design intent, manufacturing standards, and site conditions Troubleshoot design or fabrication issues and recommend solutions Project Coordination Manage assigned projects from submittal through fabrication and installation Maintain project schedules and release engineered drawings on time Coordinate with designers, production teams, and shop personnel Assist with material takeoffs and fabrication planning Field & Installation Support Communicate with installation crews and supervisors Review site conditions and resolve installation challenges Coordinate deliveries, sequencing, and installation timelines Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off 401K with Company Match Tools provided Vision insurance Why Join the William & Lowell Team?
