Process Controls Programmer Rockline Industries United States, Arkansas, Springdale 1583 East Mountain Road (Show on map) Aug 24, 2026 Description What you will do: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of FactoryTalk Batch systems and batch cleaning processes. Develop scalable batch recipes and automation strategies from process requirements. Integrate and standardize automation with other platforms (PLCs, HMI, MES) and ensure compliance and traceability. Troubleshoot complex automation issues and drive process improvements. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support for major projects. Uphold safety standards and company values, and assist with other tasks as needed. This is a safety-sensitive role where performance directly impacts safety.
Ideal Background:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, chemical, controls) and 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience. Preferred experience in consumer products, chemicals, food, or regulated manufacturing. Expertise with Rockwell Automation PLCs, FactoryTalk Batch/View, and ISA-88. Strong skills in chemical process automation (batching, dosing, mixing, transfer). Experience with CIP/SIP cleaning systems and historian/reporting platforms. Ability to read technical drawings and process documents. Knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety practices. Strong communication skills. Experience with MES and version control tools preferred.
