Job Description
Position Summary:
Engineer will work under the supervision of a Registered Professional Chemical Engineer.Key Responsibilities:
- Will develop and apply engineering principles into the design of process systems for metallurgical process facilities. This includes development of process flow diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, equipment lists, process design criteria, equipment specification, and heat and mass balances.
- Will be available to learn and engage in any aspect of process engineering, including learning new technologies.
- Will learn or enhance AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and/or Metsim software proficiency.
- The candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
- Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
- Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
- A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mining, or Metallurgy discipline
- Candidate should be able to travel occasionally.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous Mining Experience
- EIT, PE
Bilingual:
English / Spanish abilities- Experience working on multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
