What You'll DoProcess Development & R D Plan and conduct benchtop experiments to optimize food products and manufacturing processes Design and execute experiments using statistical methods (DOE) when appropriate Support pilot?scale trials and process scale?up efforts Develop prototypes and assist with sensory testing and product evaluation Equipment & External Collaboration Source and evaluate third?party equipment, ingredients, and processing solutions Design proof?of?concept test plans and execute trials internally and with partners Travel as needed to support testing at third?party facilities Cross?

Functional Project Support Lead or support process development projects aligned with commercialization goals Collaborate with Food Development, Sensory, and Commercial teams to meet product briefs Support technology transfer from R D into pilot and manufacturing environments Team Contribution Mentor junior team members on engineering fundamentals and experimental best practices Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and fast?paced team culture What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (Food Process Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related field) 2-4 years of experience in food processing, manufacturing engineering, process development, or product development Strong experimental design, data analysis, and problem?solving skills High self?accountability with the ability to execute independently and collaboratively Comfort working in a fast?moving and evolving environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with pilot plants or process scale?up Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD tools Exposure to novel food technologies, fermentation, biotech, or alternative protein systems Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 20 lbs Comfort standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and performing hands?on lab or pilot?plant work
