Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Engineer, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes within food and beverage production. Support aseptic processing and aseptic packaging operations. Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost. Develop and implement process improvements within a highly controlled, sterile manufacturing environment. Troubleshoot manufacturing and process-related issues and develop effective corrective solutions. Support equipment, process, and packaging improvements throughout the manufacturing operation. Collaborate with operations, production, quality, maintenance, and other cross-functional teams to implement improvements. Apply engineering principles to low-acid aseptic food and beverage manufacturing processes. Assist with process validation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Help ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet quality and production requirements. Evaluate manufacturing data and process performance to identify improvement opportunities. Support new products, equipment, processes, and production initiatives as needed. Maintain a strong focus on food safety, sterile processing, operational efficiency, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications Needed:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Minimum 4+ years of process engineering experience.

Required:

Experience with aseptic processing and/or aseptic packaging. Strong experience in manufacturing environments; food manufacturing preferred. Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production operations. Ability to analyze processes and implement practical engineering solutions. Experience working cross-functionally with production, operations, quality, and maintenance teams. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, but not required. Local Lathrop-area candidates preferred; relocation candidates may be considered for an exceptional fit. Interested in hearing more?
