Type:

full-time Our client is seeking a Process Engineer to join their state-of-the-art laboratory environment, where you'll work with advanced reactor systems, process analytical technologies, and data-driven modeling to develop high-quality, reproducible results. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with chemists, engineers, project managers, quality teams, and manufacturing personnel while contributing directly to experimental design, technical strategy, safety initiatives, and customer deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and independently conduct research as part of a multidisciplinary team. Operate and maintain advanced laboratory reactors, including EasyMax, and process analytical technologies such as IR, Raman, FBRM, ReactIR, and Easyviewer. Process and report experimental data, including mass and energy balances, reaction kinetics, and crystallization results. Analyze complex datasets, identify unexpected results, and provide actionable recommendations. Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders. Manage projects effectively while maintaining awareness of timelines and budgets. Support a strong quality culture by ensuring services meet or exceed customer expectations. Maintain a safe laboratory environment, including compliance with hazardous-duty procedures and proper waste management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or an MS/PhD in Chemical Engineering. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Mettler Toledo automated reactor platforms is a plus. Familiarity with modeling software such as Aspen, Dynochem, COMSOL, MATLAB, or DesignExpert is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working independently.

LABORATORY PROFICIENCY

Experience in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment is preferred but not required. Hands-on experience with process analytical technologies and laboratory reactor systems. Strong technical writing and customer-facing communication skills. Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving abilities. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
