Job Description

## Standard Job Description Be a part of digital transformation and support adoption of new technologies and material qualification. Responsibilities will include supporting the MaterialCenter team, a dynamic, enterprise-wide online material data management solution team, as well as working short and long-term projects. The Materials and Process Engineering Technology team is seeking an E2 level highly motivated candidate to join our team. The candidate will be a member of the integrated Technology team with an emphasis on supporting and implementing digital transformation at Sikorsky and other Lockheed Martin business areas. Candidate should be flexible to support a range of tasks involved in deployment and adoption of a new system such as supporting upgrades, defect troubleshooting, and develop and maintain automation tools/scripts to streamline data management. As a key member of our Materials and Process Engineering Technology Team, your role will include an emphasis on the following:
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases
  • Support development of automated test scripts for new MaterialCenter builds.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and data security related testing.
  • Coordinate with internal and external software development teams and project lead to validate code changes and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Support material testing for pollution prevention efforts.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools/scripts (e.g. Python, JavaScript) to streamline data management from laboratory test frames, external databases, and legacy systems while ensuring modular, reusable automation components. ## Basic Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical knowledge in materials, both metallics and composites, and manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of automation tools/scripts (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Materials and Process experience ## Desired Skills
  • Open to continuous learning and technical skill development
  • Integration and test/troubleshooting experience
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
