Job Description
Are you ready to dive hands-on into the exciting world of high-reliability passive components and precision subsystems, directly shaping the future of capacitor development? Exxelia, a rapidly growing leader in the field, is looking for an Engineering Technician who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving innovative product and process advancements. In this role, you'll be instrumental in gathering and analyzing critical technical data, performing rigorous electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing, and engaging in hands-on assembly operations for new product development. If you're passionate about applied engineering and making a tangible impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment, this is the role for you. Responsibilities Gather and analyze technical data related to research, product development, and process improvement projects. Perform Electrical, Mechanical, and Environmental testing of components in accordance with applicable specifications. Perform hands-on assembly operations under Process Engineering guidance for new product development initiatives. Review and update technical documents such as work instructions and material specifications for new and existing products. Train operators on new assembly methods during transition from development to commercialization of new products or processes. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or STEM field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong analytical, creative thinking, and reasoning skills; aptitude for learning, understanding, and applying knowledge to solve problems. Must be proficient in applying core mathematics principles to prepare and analyze data (algebra, geometry, statistics). Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to carry out effective technical discussions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills required. 2+ Years experience working in a production environment preferred. Must be eligible to work in the United States in compliance with export regulations.
