63477 Department National High Magnetic Field Laboratory Responsibilities A postdoctoral position is available for highly motivated candidates to join a multi-disciplinary group of chemical engineers, physicists, chemists, and geochemists at the Florida State University (FSU) and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL). The project will involve experiments, modeling and simulations of critical metals fluids under influence of magnetic fields. The candidate selected is expected to conduct research on the experiments and modeling of a range of separation strategies for recovery of critical materials from industrial waste. The initial appointment will be for one year, with renewal for up to two additional years conditional upon performance and availability of funding.
