Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the injection molding team. Monitor and troubleshoot plastics injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion processes to maintain optimal production output and product quality. Supervise machine operation, perform routine maintenance checks, and coordinate repairs or adjustments with engineering support when necessary. Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurements to verify product specifications meet strict standards. Ensure adherence to safety protocols by enforcing proper use of hand tools, materials handling procedures, forklift operation, and industrial equipment safety guidelines. Manage materials inventory within the warehouse environment, oversee materials handling tasks, and ensure proper storage practices. Support training initiatives for team members on machine operation, measurement techniques, safety procedures, and quality control standards. Maintain detailed records of production metrics, quality inspections, safety incidents, and equipment maintenance logs. Qualifications Proven experience in plastics production environments with hands-on knowledge of plastics injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion processes. Ability to troubleshoot engineering issues related to machinery or process deviations efficiently. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to dimensions and tolerances in manufacturing settings. Knowledge of safety protocols applicable to manufacturing environments with a focus on materials handling and equipment operation. Warehouse experience is advantageous for managing inventory flow within production areas. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards for safety and quality assurance.
