Role Scope As a Project Engineer (onsite) in Calhoun, GA, you will lead cross-functional efforts to deliver customer programs from concept through launch, ensuring stable, repeatable production. This role exists to keep projects on schedule, aligned to technical requirements, and executed with disciplined communication—especially for candidates who must have plastic injection molding exp.
Key responsibilities include:
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk/issue logs; drive actions to closure Coordinate tooling, process development, and validation activities with engineering, quality, and operations Manage customer and internal communication, including status updates, documentation, and change control Use data and structured problem-solving to support continuous improvement during and after launch Required qualifications: 5+ years plastics experience 5+ years project management experience If you're ready to apply your must have plastic injection molding exp. in a high-visibility engineering role, submit your application today. A Typical Day Your day typically starts on the production floor and in brief check-ins to confirm priorities, open items, and upcoming milestones. You'll spend time moving between engineering workspaces, meetings, and manufacturing areas, translating technical details into clear updates for stakeholders. Throughout the day, you'll review schedules, track progress against gates, and align timing across tooling, trials, and documentation. You'll also stay close to build readiness—watching for small signals that could affect launch timing—while keeping communication structured and timely. For programs where you must have plastic injection molding exp., you'll frequently connect observations from trials and production runs back to the project plan so decisions are made quickly and recorded cleanly.
