This role is pivotal in developing, analyzing, and optimizing materials and manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in materials science, process engineering, and CAD-based design tools to support product development, material selection, and process improvements across various manufacturing platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a dynamic environment committed to excellence and continuous innovation. Duties Materials and Processes Engineering experience in generating and communicating technical requirements to external suppliers and internal multi-engineering disciplines (Powerplant, Environmental Control, Structures, Electrical, and Mechanical). StarTeam and Catia experience of reviewing proposed designs and workflows. Produced EAR approved test plans and results reports. Must have demonstrated successful manufacturing liaison material review board (MRB) integration and implemented continuous improvement projects. Knowledge of Materials and Processes Engineering experience in selecting materials used in a pressurized and unpressurized environment. Have knowledge of materials containing chemical substances that are identified in any new international and national environmental regulation (REACH, TSCA, EPA); is a plus. Experience with revising materials and processes specifications. Works on engineering projects containing critical problems, the solution of which requires major technological advances and extensive related development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees. Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards relevant to materials engineering. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive approach towards research & development initiatives. #IND1
