Job Description
Back Instrument and Controls Engineer
- 24841 I&C Engineer Contract 11619 Sep 24, 2026 Boise , Idaho We are seeking an Instrument and Controls Engineer for assignment in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will support automation and facility control systems for advanced manufacturing and semiconductor facilities. Hours are Monday
- Friday, 8:00am
- 5:00pm
- This position is on-site
- Responsibilities
- Design instrumentation, control, and automation systems for industrial facilities
- Prepare P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and related design documentation
- Perform instrument and control valve sizing and develop equipment data sheets
- Develop control narratives and sequences of operation
- Review vendor submittals and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
- Support construction, startup, commissioning and client technical discussions Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 4+ years experience working with Instrumentation and Controls
- Working knowledge of PLC and SCADA based control systems, instrumentation and process control (Siemens, Omron or DeviceNet networks)
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks is a plus
- An Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) is a plus Apply Now Share This Post
