Job Description

Injection Molding Specialist /
Process Technician Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM We are looking for an experienced Injection Molding Specialist to join our growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for keeping injection molding machines running efficiently, performing mold changes, troubleshooting machine and process issues, and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities:
Set up, start up, and maintain injection molding machines Perform mold changes and verify proper machine setup Troubleshoot machine alarms and process issues Adjust processing parameters to maintain quality and cycle times Diagnose molding defects and correct process problems Monitor production performance and identify improvement opportunities Work with maintenance and production teams to reduce downtime Ensure safety and quality standards are followed Document machine settings and process changes
Qualifications:
Experience with injection molding machines and processing Experience performing mold changes Ability to troubleshoot machine alarms and molding defects Understanding of molding parameters such as: Temperature Pressure Injection speed Hold pressure/time Cooling Mechanical troubleshooting experience Ability to safely use tools and equipment Forklift experience Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience:
Experience with injection molding machines Experience with plastics processing (HDPE, acetal/POM, etc.) Experience improving cycle times and reducing scrap
