Scientist I Job Description In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting a team of seasoned scientists and engineers, contributing to lab-based projects that drive innovation and excellence. You will have the opportunity to contribute to product development and innovation work in a large global organization, participating in meaningful projects that have a tangible impact on our business and the broader market. Responsibilities Contribute to the design and development of new products. Optimize existing commercial products to meet company and industry standards. Participate in lab-based projects that drive innovation. Collaborate with a team of seasoned scientists and engineers. Engage in meaningful projects that impact the business and broader market. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Previous research and/or laboratory experience. Proficiency in equipment design, optimization, and troubleshooting. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Exposure to process chemistry modeling/simulation and data analysis software. Work Environment This position is based in North Chicago and requires 100% onsite work. The role involves working in a laboratory environment alongside a team of professionals using advanced technologies and equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.00/hr.
