Job Description Processengineers support API and natural products projects through all phases of late-stage development, commercialization,andproduct life cycle.

This positionis responsible forassessing key unit operations (e.g., reactions, crystallizations) for process robustness, scientific understanding, and potential scale-up risksfrom the lab to a manufacturing environment.

Effective cross-functional interactions withotherfunctions (e.g.,technical,quality, regulatory)and on-site manufacturing personnelarekeyforsuccessful job performance.
Purpose:
Develop scalable and robust engineering processes forkey modalities (e.g.,small molecule APIs, antibody drug conjugates,peptides,and natural products).Demonstrate technicalexpertiseandstrong communicationskills in a multidisciplinaryenvironment.

Investigate,identify, develop, andoptimizenew methods and techniques. Develop productive collaborations and communications with other groups across scientificdisciplines. Responsibilities Leveragecore chemical engineering principles(chemicalkinetics,transport phenomena, thermodynamics, mathematical modeling)in experimentaldesign, thought processin problem-solving, and data analysis. Routinelydemonstratescientificinitiativeand creativity in research or development activities. Maintainautonomous and productive performance in lab experimentation,pilot plant, and/or manufacturing support space,requiring onlyminimal direction from or interaction with supervisor. Formulateconclusions and design follow-on experiments based on multidisciplinary data. Pursue areas of investigation that are scientifically impactful to developmentor commercial programs. Effective investigation and troubleshootingof product failures andproposerecommendations for remediation. Author publications, presentations,technical reports,regulatory documents,and/or patents. Demonstrate highproficiencyacrossa wide range of relevant technologies. Understandand adhere to corporate standardsregardingcode of conduct, safety,appropriate handlingof materials, controlleddrugand radioactive compounds, andGxPcompliance. Be a subject matter expertto other functions within the project team.

Direct mentorship of other engineers on project teams. Qualifications BS, MS, or PhD in chemical engineering or a related field and10+ (BS),8+ (MS), or0+ (PhD) years of relevant industrial experience. Possessthorough theoretical and practical understanding ofownscientific discipline. Possessexcellent written and oral communication skills.

Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographiclocation,andwemayultimatelypaymore or less than the posted range. This range may bemodifiedin thefuture. This job is eligible toparticipatein our short-term incentiveprograms.
