We are looking for an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician for our Second Shift who understands that great parts do not happen by accident. WHAT YOU WILL DO
This is a technically demanding role with real influence over production quality and efficiency. You will be the person others look to when the process needs to perform.
  • Set up, start up, and optimize injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Develop, document, and maintain process parameters for consistent, repeatable production performance
  • Troubleshoot molding defects and implement effective, lasting corrective actions
  • Perform mold changes and support production start-ups to minimize downtime
  • Monitor cycle times, scrap rates, and machine efficiencies to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams
  • Support preventive maintenance activities and equipment troubleshooting
  • Train and mentor production operators on proper molding practices and process controls
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and company standards
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience and Technical Knowledge
  • 3+ years of injection molding processing experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of plastic materials, molding parameters, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with scientific molding principles is strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret process sheets, tooling drawings, and quality specifications
  • Knowledge of hot runner systems, robotics, and auxiliary equipment is a plus Work Style and Attributes
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills — you dig for root causes, not quick fixes
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of the process
  • Collaborative team player who communicates clearly across departments
