Job Description

Description:
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Engineer - Draftsman to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be the bridge between customer design concepts and the CNC machining floor. Your primary responsibility will be creating accurate process prints and maintaining the integrity of our engineering documentation to ensure seamless production of new and existing components.
Key Responsibilities Process Print Creation:
Develop or update detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for CNC manufacturing processes, including operational sheets and setup diagrams.
Engineering Documentation:
Update and manage Revision Control for existing parts to ensure the shop floor is always working from the most current specifications. New Product Introduction (NPI): Work alongside engineers to draft technical drawings for new parts, ensuring all tolerances and material specifications are clearly defined.
Data Management:
Maintain organized digital and physical archives of engineering drawings, CAD files, vendor quotes, and Routers (Bill of Materials).
Shop Floor Support:
Collaborate with engineering to clarify drawing intent and make real-time adjustments to documentation based on manufacturing feedback.
Quality Engineering:

Salary Info:
$48,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Proficiency:
Advanced skills in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor).
Manufacturing Knowledge:
Solid understanding of CNC machining processes, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Attention to
Detail:
Ability to spot minor discrepancies in complex schematics that could lead to production errors.
Experience:
1-3 years of drafting experience in a mechanical or manufacturing environment (preferred, not required).
Education:
Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience (preferred, not required).
