Job Description

Job Overview QVID Talent Solutions is recruiting for a Process Engineer on behalf of our client in Frankfort, Indiana. The Process Engineer will provide technical support to plant operations while helping improve safety, quality, efficiency, capacity, reliability, operational stability, cost performance, and plant profitability. Responsibilities Monitor unit operations, identify deviations, and support troubleshooting. Evaluate and implement technical solutions that improve safety, quality, capacity, reliability, and operability. Initiate, implement, document, and manage Management of Change activities. Provide technical and process-safety input to the MOC committee. Deliver operator training for process and Process Control Technology changes. Participate in Process Hazard Analyses and complete assigned actions. Support capital-project planning, design, construction, commissioning, and implementation. Support DCS projects and coordinate with third-party integrators. Modify and troubleshoot DCS programming, logic, graphics, hardware, and software. Troubleshoot and maintain DCS and SIS systems. Identify cost-saving opportunities involving yield, waste reduction, and energy usage. Maintain P&IDs, DCS and SIS documentation, electrical drawings, equipment drawings, design information, and
FLOC/AKZ
records. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. At least three years of professional experience. Experience with DCS, SIS, or PLC systems. Experience with process data historians. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Experience training salaried and hourly employees. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Preferred Qualification Experience in a Process Safety Management manufacturing environment.
Position Details Starting salary:
$100,000 - 130,000 Additional compensation: 7% bonus
