What You'll Do:
As the Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering assurance of all control, automation, and safety instrumented systems for the TNT Project. The role ensures that control system architecture, hardware, software, and cybersecurity are fit‑for‑purpose, compliant, and support safe operation, commissioning, and long‑term asset reliability. Following commissioning, the role transitions to a site‑based controls engineer supporting plant operations.
Other duties include:
Assure control system architecture and design from FEED onwards Review EPCM control philosophies, cause & effect, and specifications Ensure alignment with Dyno Nobel standards and cybersecurity requirements Support SIL determination and SIS design assurance Participate in safety validation activities Provide technical support during installation and loop checking Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities Resolve control system issues during start‑up Support development of alarm management, operating interfaces, and training Ensure control system readiness aligns with OR milestones Maintain and optimise control systems Support troubleshooting, tuning, and system upgrades Support lifecycle management of automation assets
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or Automation Engineering 7+ years experience in industrial control systems (chemicals/explosives preferred) Experience with DCS, SIS, PLCs, and industrial networks Knowledge of
IEC 61511
/ functional safety principles Commissioning and start‑up experience Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player.
