Our client is seeking candidates to help develop the purification processes that support biopharmaceutical development. In this role, you'll join the Biologics Purification Development team within Product Development Science & Technology, contributing hands-on expertise in recombinant protein purification, process development, and characterization. What you'll do: Develop recombinant protein purification processes using clarification, chromatography, and membrane filtration. Design and conduct process development and characterization studies, including impurity and viral clearance evaluations. Support technology transfer to scale-up laboratories and manufacturing facilities, including troubleshooting and investigations. Collect, analyze, and document experimental data in electronic lab notebooks. Communicate experimental procedures and results clearly and collaborate with colleagues across teams. Provide technical support for pilot and/or GMP manufacturing of clinical materials, as needed. Evaluate new technologies and approaches to improve purification processes. What you'll bring: A master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Experience developing purification processes for recombinant proteins using clarification, chromatography, and membrane filtration. Experience designing and executing process development and characterization studies, including impurity and viral clearance studies. Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills. Availability to work 100% onsite for the 6-month contract.
