Position Summary The Chemical Process Technologist is responsible for managing technology development programs focused on the improvement of existing and development of new chemical process technologies. Based at the Weymouth Research Center, this role supports breakthrough technology scale-up efforts with a particular focus on Energy Transition, Renewable Fuels, and Sustainable Chemistry applications. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic R D environment, demonstrating the ability to rapidly learn new technical domains, manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities while delivering high-quality technical results. Key Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities Lead and manage chemical process technology development programs from concept through implementation. Evaluate chemical processes through process modeling, simulation, and economic analysis. Design and execute experimental programs to support technology development objectives. Oversee the design, construction, operation, modification, and maintenance of bench-scale and pilot-scale process development equipment. Conduct and interpret chemical and physical analyses of process streams and samples. Evaluate experimental data and develop kinetic models to support process optimization and scale-up. Provide technical expertise and support to multiple R D programs across the organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners to advance technology development initiatives. Support innovation efforts in Energy Transition, Renewable Fuels, Sustainable Chemistry, and related emerging technologies.
