Job Description Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, production efficiency, and operational performance. Manage and resolve day-to-day process and production challenges. Drive process optimization projects focused on reducing costs, improving yields, and enhancing operational safety. Oversee capital investment projects including equipment upgrades, process improvements, and facility modifications. Develop equipment specifications and support the selection, procurement, and implementation of new process equipment. Design and implement automated process control solutions and control strategies. Prepare process documentation, flow diagrams, and technical procedures. Coordinate activities with maintenance teams, contractors, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Support Environmental, Health & Safety programs and contribute to the development of safe operating procedures. Evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure regulatory and environmental compliance. Support wastewater treatment and environmental improvement initiatives where applicable. Deliver technical training and operational guidance to production teams. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline. Demonstrated experience within a chemical manufacturing, processing, or industrial production environment. Proven ability to manage engineering projects from concept through implementation. Strong knowledge of chemical process equipment, process flow development, and manufacturing operations. Experience conducting engineering calculations including mass balance, material consumption, and process analysis. Familiarity with process automation, instrumentation, and control systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CAD software. Strong understanding of process safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation and train operational personnel. Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, maintenance, production, and leadership teams. Experience with wastewater treatment, electrochemical processes, metallurgical operations, or industrial automation would be advantageous.
