Summary Hemlock Semiconductor Operations is seeking Chemical Engineering students for summer internship positions at our manufacturing facility located in Hemlock, Michigan. Summer interns are assigned challenging projects that provide hands-on, practical work experience that is aligned to the student's current level of coursework and skills.
Projects may include one or more of the following areas: Process Optimization and Improvement
Technology Development and Implementation
Process Safety Essential Functions
Students will be assigned into one of the the following areas Manufacturing Intern
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers with optimization efforts to improve yield, maximize throughput, maintain quality and increase process safety. Process Engineering Intern
- Assist Process Engineers with developing and installing new technology, providing specialized support to manufacturing to solve problems, implementing improvements. Engineering and Services Intern
- Assist Project Engineers with supporting our manufacturing teams by executing projects that increase reliability, capacity and capability.
