We are a plastic injection molding company with 4 other companies operating in Minnesota and Arkansas. We are excited to announce the opening of our new manufacturing facility in Lewiston, Idaho. Our company is focused on high-quality plastic injection molding and is committed to innovation, efficiency, and building a strong local team. We're looking for skilled and motivated individuals to join us.Position Overview:
The Plastic Injection Processing Technicians will be responsible for setting up, processing, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and start up injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
- Troubleshoot processing issues and make necessary adjustments
- Perform mold changes, material changes, and machine setups
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Work closely with quality and maintenance teams to resolve issues
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Willingness to adjust work and as needed by lead/supervisor
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in plastic injection molding
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes and materials
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
