What You Will Do:
Support processing and set up teams to improve daily efficiency and continuous improvement efforts Participate in product launches to ensure a smooth transition from launch to production Contribute to PFMEA activities for new product launches Implement process improvements, affecting scrap, labor, and downtime Lead continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools such as 6S, SMED, and error-proofing Identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions for process-related customer rejections to prevent recurrence Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding processing materials and equipment Lead investigation teams focused on scrap reduction, process improvement, and cycle time reduction Establish and maintain robust production processes for each mold Establish and maintain optimal machine settings for each mold Establish and maintain process standards for raw material dryers Provide technical support and training to the processing and molding departments Provide problem-solving and engineering support to Tool Room, Maintenance, and Molding What You Need toBe Successful:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent injection molding processing experience Minimum 10 years of related manufacturing experience Knowledge of thermoplastic morphologies and their properties Understanding of polymer chain degradation and its causes and effects Fundamentals of Systematic Molding certification Master Molder 1 certification Master Molder 2 certification Employer will not sponsor visas for position.
