Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to support automation and process control activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role will focus on DeltaV DCS configuration, S88 batch process design, and support of either upstream (bioreactors, fermentation, cell culture) or downstream (purification, chromatography, filtration) unit operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of automation engineering and hands-on pharma manufacturing experience, with the ability to work cross-functionally with process engineering, MSAT, validation, and quality teams. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and troubleshoot DeltaV control system applications, including module/phase logic, recipes, and HMI graphics Develop and maintain S88 batch structures (phases, operations, unit procedures, recipes) for upstream or downstream production equipment Support automation activities across the project lifecycle: FDS/URS development, FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and startup Collaborate with process engineers to translate process requirements into control strategies Troubleshoot control system issues on the plant floor, supporting production and minimizing downtime Ensure compliance with c
