A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Process Engineer designs and maintains manufacturing equipment, facilities and processes for a pharmaceutical company. Maintains process controls for the specific sterile processing requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Engineering experience is a must. This person will work with teams across different plants and will need to travel across several locations / plant facilities and will need to work in plant operations and construction environment as and when needed. Key Responsibilities Dairy Process Engineering Provide technical expertise in milk reception, processing, and value-added dairy product manufacturing.
Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), mass and energy balances.
Support design and optimization of dairy processing systems including:
Milk reception and storage, Pasteurization and sterilization.
Homogenization
Fermentation processes
Cheese production
Yogurt manufacturing
Butter and cream processing
Ice cream processing.
Milk powder production.
Whey processing and valorization Technology & Equipment Selection Recommend suitable process technologies and equipment based on product requirements and business objectives.
Review and approve technical specifications for dairy processing equipment.
Support vendor evaluations, technical bid assessments, and FAT/SAT activities.
Ensure proper integration of processing, utility, packaging, and automation systems.
Project Engineering Support
Participate in feasibility studies, concept design, FEED, detailed engineering, and project execution.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
Support plant expansion, modernization, debottlenecking, and capacity enhancement projects.
Ensure compliance with project objectives related to cost, quality, safety, and schedule.
Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
Exposure to
HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC
22000, Dairy hygiene standards, regulatory requirements of local and international markets, Participate in risk assessments and food safety reviews.
Knowledge Management & Training
Develop technical standards, design guidelines, and best practices.
Mentor engineering teams on dairy processing technologies and emerging industry trends.
