Engineering Mechanical Engineering Engineering process optimization Bachelor's degree Performance Improvement (PI) Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Job Summary Responsible for evaluating, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements. The role supports production operations through process analysis, troubleshooting, data analysis, and implementation of process improvements. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste. Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. Troubleshoot production issues related to machinery, equipment, and process flow. Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment and process issues and minimize downtime. Lead process improvement projects from initiation through completion. Design new manufacturing processes or modify existing processes to improve product quality or meet customer specifications. Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to monitor performance and identify trends. Recommend and implement process adjustments based on data analysis. Support quality control activities to ensure processes meet industry standards and customer specifications. Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance procedures. Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and internal policies. Implement and enforce safety procedures related to manufacturing processes. Provide process-related safety training as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment. Experience in aluminum manufacturing or metals-related processes. Knowledge of process control and process optimization. Proficiency with engineering and process tools, including: Process simulation software Auto
