Process Technician

Process Technician - Injection Molding Full-Time | Honeoye, NY We are seeking a hands-on Process Technician to support our injection molding operations. This role is responsible for setting up, optimizing, and maintaining molding processes to ensure high-quality parts and efficient production. This is a key position that works closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and keep operations running smoothly.

What You Will Do:

Set up and start injection molding machines to achieve optimal process conditions Monitor and adjust processes to maintain quality, efficiency, and consistency Troubleshoot molding, machine, and tooling issues to minimize downtime and scrap Develop and refine process parameters for new and existing jobs Support daily production schedules to meet customer requirements and ship dates Collaborate with quality to resolve defects and implement corrective actions Assist with mold changes and startups Coordinate with maintenance and tooling teams on repairs and improvements Supervise and support machine operators and material handlers as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Document process changes and maintain accurate production records

What We Are Looking For:

3-5+ years of experience in injection molding (process technician or similar role) Strong understanding of molding processes, materials, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to independently set up and optimize molding machines Experience working with process parameters and continuous improvement Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Bonus Experience:

Blow molding experience Familiarity with a range of molding machines and auxiliary equipment Leadership experience supporting or directing operators

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
