Must provide own tools Working knowledge of injection molding equipment, mold handling, and mold storage procedures Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety procedures and regulations Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Your Day-to-Day:
Collaborate with engineering teams on the design and development of new molds Perform mold trials, samplings, and pilot production runs Develop, optimize, and document injection molding processes for new tooling Implement and document Scientific Molding practices and process improvements Provide feedback to engineering regarding tooling performance and mold conditions Establish labor requirements and production standards for new molds Recommend automation and auxiliary equipment to improve efficiency and reduce labor costs Maintain molding process documentation, machine specifications, and technical records Lead training initiatives and provide technical support for molding operations Drive continuous improvement efforts related to molding processes, quality, and productivity Why This Job?
