Energy, Industrial Construction, Gas Processing, Midstream, RNG, and Process Facilities Position Summary Wikota is seeking a Mechanical or Process Engineer with strong experience in piping systems, valve specifications, and industrial facility design. This position will support the engineering, design, fabrication, and construction of process facilities, gas processing equipment, pipeline systems, compressor stations, RNG facilities, and related industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing piping specifications, valve data sheets, line classes, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and construction packages while ensuring compliance with applicable industry codes and client requirements. Essential Responsibilities Develop and maintain piping specifications, piping material specifications, and line classes. Prepare and review valve specifications, valve data sheets, and equipment selection packages. Create and review PFDs, P&IDs, line lists, valve lists, and equipment datasheets. Support mechanical and process design activities for skid-mounted systems, gas processing facilities, and pipeline infrastructure. Perform piping system design in accordance with applicable codes and standards, including ASME B31.3 and
ASME B31.8.
Coordinate engineering deliverables with project managers, designers, procurement teams, and construction personnel. Review vendor drawings, technical submittals, and equipment packages. Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, constructability reviews, and client meetings. Assist with field troubleshooting, commissioning, startup, and operational support. Develop material take-offs, bills of material (BOMs), and technical procurement packages. Support fabrication, testing, inspection, and quality assurance activities. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial engineering experience. Experience developing piping specifications and valve specifications.

Flange and Valve Standards Pressure Relief Systems Experience with industrial process facilities, gas processing, midstream, pipeline, petrochemical, renewable natural gas (RNG), or energy projects. Ability to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, isometrics, and engineering drawings. Strong communication and project coordination skills. Preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain. Experience with 3D modeling software such as Plant 3D, CADWorx, AutoCAD, or similar. Experience with control valves, actuated valves, relief valves, and process instrumentation. Experience supporting fabrication shops and field construction activities. Knowledge of compressor stations, gas treatment systems, cryogenic systems, or process equipment design.
