As an EQT Intern, you will participate in a 12-week paid "real-world experience" internship program. The Process Safety Intern will support the continued development and implementation of EQT's Process Safety Management (PSM) program. The intern will be assigned a defined project focused on reviewing and updating existing PSM Operating Procedures to improve consistency, usability, and alignment with current operating practices and process safety best practices. In addition to updating procedures, the intern will develop supporting training materials and competency assessments to help ensure employees understand the procedures and can demonstrate the knowledge necessary to perform their responsibilities safely and consistently. They will be able to leverage EQT AI tools to assist with execution of this project. The Process Safety intern will gain hands-on experience applying process safety principles in an operating environment and will have the opportunity to take ownership of a meaningful project from development through implementation. The experience will provide exposure to: OSHA Process Safety Management concepts and requirements.

Development and improvement of operating procedures.

Process hazards and critical operating parameters.

Training and competency assessment development.

Collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS professionals.

Field operations and the practical application of process safety requirements.

Management systems and continuous improvement.

Required Experience/Skills:

Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Engineering/Engineering Technology Program.

Open to majors within Process Engineering, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum overall 3.0 GPA.

Work Location:

Hybrid -

Canonsburg:
