Key Responsibilities:

Evaluates technical and economic factors to recommend sampling techniques and develop optimum manufacturing processes to meet design objectives and customer specifications and improve manufacturing system. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design or test problems. Coordinates designs of experiments, process capability studies, and statistical process control analysis; resolves process related problems. Conduct process validation, testing, and documentation to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical support and training to production staff on process procedures and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Process Engineer in the plastics or polymer manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of plastics processing techniques such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, or thermoforming. Proficiency in process simulation, data analysis, and process control tools. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
