Remote, Remote job type: Contract salary: $65.42 - 70.42 per hour work hours: 9am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Please note: A mimumum of 4 years of nuclear Human Factors experience is required. Essential Responsibilities Knowledge of the human factors engineering process.

Knowledge of nuclear plant operations and nuclear regulatory processes.

Ability to determined the requirements for the displays, controls, and job support aids needed to accomplish functions.

Ability to translate requirements into controls, displays, software and hardware for monitoring, controls, and protection functions for various nuclear plant systems and operating modes.

Ability to review, test and validate human-system interfaces using a simulator and plant operating, surveillance, and emergency proceedures.

Ability to incorporate design requirements into analyses and design documents.

Support the development of normal, abnormal, emergency operating procedures, alarm response procedures, surveillance procedures and operator training programs.

Support company quality requirements, including participation in design reviews and the initiation of and esponding to corrective actions.

Provide on-time, quality delivery of engineering documentation in accordance with contract requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines. Responsibilities Translate complex operational requirements into intuitive displays, controls, software, and hardware for monitoring and protection across plant systems.

Review, test, and validate human-system interfaces using plant simulators, operating procedures, and emergency response protocols.

Support the creation of normal, abnormal, and emergency operating procedures, alarm response structures, and operator training programs.

Actively participate in design reviews, initiate and resolve corrective actions, and uphold rigorous nuclear regulatory and quality standards.

Deliver high-quality engineering design definitions, analyses, and licensing documentation in full alignment with project schedules and business procedures.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Human Factors Psychology, Applied Psychology, or equivalent 4-year degree in a technical discipline. Minimum 4 years of nuclear Human Factors experience. #LI-KB1 qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 4 years of experience
