Job Description

Position Summary The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting injection molding processes within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who actively supports production, trains technicians, and drives continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and scrap reduction. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for injection molding operations and resolve process-related issues Develop and validate robust molding processes using scientific molding principles Optimize cycle times, reduce scrap, and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE) Lead process development for new product launches and transfers Train and mentor molding technicians and production personnel Establish and monitor key manufacturing KPIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering Troubleshoot equipment and processes to identify root causes and implement corrective actions Qualifications 5+ years of experience in injection molding or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong knowledge of scientific molding techniques and process development Experience with multi-shot, rotary, and electric molding machines preferred Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize molding processes Strong communication and leadership skills
