Job Description

job summary: Well established, growing and very reputable organization located in the Beaumont, Texas area is looking for a Control Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess experience with DCS (distributive control systems) along maintaining process-related systems; modifying software and hardware to improve process capabilities and maintaining communication between
DCS/PLC/TCPIP
based systems. This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with base salary ranging from $130k to $140k plus an annual bonus. Relocation assistance is also available. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Beaumont, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $130,000 - 140,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times.

Maintains process related systems; modifies software and hardware to improve process capabilities.

Maintains communcation between
DCS/PLC/CPIP
based systems.

Regularly performs data analysis to better understand process capabilities.

Trains operations and maintenance personnel in relevant components of computer systems.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field required
Experience:
3+ years of experience working with PC operating systems, PLC, DCS and/or SCADA programming applications (required)Preferred experiences: Visual Basic, Database programming, PC/Server networking, Instrumentation and industrial control system design, Allen Bradley
PLC, ABB
Bailey Infi 90, RCRA and MACT regulations and TCP/IP networking and NT experience qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 3 years of experience
