Lead Process Engineer Responsibilities:

Lead and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) studies to evaluate and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging processes Provide technical leadership for process improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and product quality Support and optimize liquid/gel filling and bottle/tube packaging operations within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments Conduct root cause investigations for process deviations or performance issues and implement sustainable corrective actions Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering to support process development and improvement efforts Serve as a client-facing technical expert, working directly on-site with customers and stakeholders to address process challenges Document process studies, experimental results, and improvement initiatives in accordance with industry and company standards

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering 5-10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry supporting manufacturing or process engineering Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and executing DOE (Design of Experiments) studies Demonstrated experience supporting liquid/gel filling and bottle/tube packaging processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause analysis and implementing process improvements Ability to work on-site 75%+ of the time For US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below. The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice.
