Role:
JAN Resources is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in the Energy Services industry, focusing on H2S treatment, production, and frac chemicals. As a Chemical Engineer in this role, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions and optimizing processes critical to our operations. This position is based in Odessa, TX. Candidates must currently live in the Odessa area or be willing to relocate, as regular on-site presence is required.
Key Responsibilities:
H2
S Treatment and Production Optimization:
Design, develop, and implement processes specifically for H2S treatment to enhance production efficiency and safety, managing the entire lifecycle from initial development to field-scale implementation.
Frac Chemicals Development:
Lead the development and optimization of frac chemicals, ensuring they meet the operational needs and environmental standards of the industry.
New Scavenger Development:
Innovate and develop new scavenging technologies for H2S, focusing on enhancing the effectiveness and safety of treatment processes. Lab to
Field Transition:
Successfully scale products developed in the lab to field applications, particularly in H2S treatment and production with frac chemicals, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Safety and Environmental Compliance:
Ensure all processes and developments are safe, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly, adhering to industry regulations and standards.
Collaboration and Troubleshooting:
Work closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during production and implementation phases.
