Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mold Setter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and maintaining molds used in plastics production processes such as injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding. Your expertise will ensure that molds operate efficiently, produce high-quality parts, and adhere to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with industrial equipment, and a commitment to precision measurement and quality control. Responsibilities Set up and calibrate molds for plastics injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion processes, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Operate and troubleshoot various industrial equipment Perform routine maintenance on molds and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to verify part specifications. Use hand tools and measurement devices to perform assembly, disassembly, and adjustments of molds.. Document mold setups, adjustments, and inspections accurately for quality assurance records. Experience Proven experience in plastics production environments with hands-on knowledge of plastics injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion processes. Familiarity with overhead cranes preffered (hoist) Experience with Mold Setting Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance procedures. Prior experience with robotic systems integration within manufacturing settings is advantageous. Strong mechanical aptitude complemented by basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Resume Required Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
