This is an associate-level position intended for an early-career candidate who enjoys hands-on laboratory work, works well in a small, focused team environment, and is interested in gaining broad experience in applied research and development. :
  • Prepare materials, solutions, formulations, and samples for experimental work.
  • Set up and execute laboratory experiments and test procedures.
  • Operate laboratory instruments and test equipment.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks, test records, and technical documentation.
  • Support materials synthesis, processing, characterization, and testing.
  • Assist with development and improvement of laboratory procedures and processes.
  • Work closely with scientists and engineers across multiple R D projects.
: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in product and/or process development. Strong academic background in chemistry, chemical engineering, and laboratory coursework. Demonstrated analytical chemistry expertise (Grade A in lab and class) is strongly preferred. Familiarity with analytical and materials characterization techniques such as SEM/EDS, XRF, XRD, BET, TGA/DSC, and electrochemical testing (e.g. CV, EIS). Hands-on laboratory or research experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to execute experimental procedures carefully and consistently. Experience developing process flow and piping and instrumentation diagrams. Strong communication skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively in a small company. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.
