He or she will be working with the Production Superintendents, Quality Manager, and Process Engineers. The types of projects the co-op can expect to be involved in include: Process improvement, cost reduction, and optimization opportunities. Chemical trials designed to increase quality and productivity. Equipment start-up and optimization. Statistical analysis of the finished product properties. Involvement with customers regarding special trials or quality issues. Support Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the facility by partnering with subject matter experts to identify and implement process improvements.
