Job Description

Summary:
Seeking a Process Engineer (Generalist) with expertise in engineering, manufacturing methods, and process improvement for product development and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical or related) 2+ years of industry experience Strong mechanical aptitude with machine components & equipment Understanding of statistical analysis related to process control and capability Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods including Lean and Six Sigma Proficient with MS Office tools; ability to learn

systems Project Management skills
Preferred Skills:
Competency in polymer materials, processing and test methods
Responsibilities:
Devise plans to qualify new products demonstrating process capability Support capital equipment projects as onsite expert; train personnel Improve production efficiency by analyzing trends and troubleshooting issues Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools for continuous improvement opportunities Collect data and communicate recommendations through presentations Coordinate product design and tooling to meet deadlines Maintain documents like item specifications and technical data sheets Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
