Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Civil Engineer III to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of complex civil engineering projects across a variety of client and project types. This role is responsible for overseeing large-scale site development projects, leading project teams, serving as Design Lead or Engineer of Record, and ensuring the successful execution of construction documents and engineering solutions. The Civil Engineer III will provide advanced technical expertise in drainage design, site development, utility systems, and jurisdictional code compliance while collaborating closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage budgets, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality, technically sound solutions in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Engineer has gained broad experience in multiple client and/or project types or garnered enough experience in a single project type or client to be seen as highly knowledgeable in that particular area.
- Engineer has the ability to lead a client/client team (1-5 staff), most project types, or major portions of large project utilizing their experience and education in large scale development civil design. Engineer should have thorough understanding of researching jurisdictional codes and their impact on site designs.
- Engineer can work in an independent manner on most client and/or project types with minimal to no oversight by Engineer.
