Job Description

Process Engineer / Project Engineer - Food Processing PEPM Group is seeking a Process Engineer / Project Engineer with experience in food-processing facility and production-line design. The ideal candidate will have strong experience sizing, selecting, and designing conveyor and material-handling systems. This is full time on site position in Fayetteville, AR or Tulsa, OK Responsibilities Design food-processing and material-handling systems. Size and select conveyors based on product type, capacity, speed, accumulation, sanitation, and operating requirements. Develop process flow diagrams, equipment layouts, specifications, and calculations. Coordinate processing equipment and conveyors with structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, vendors, and client communications. Support site assessments, construction, commissioning, and plant startup. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related engineering. Five or more years of relevant food-processing engineering experience. Experience with conveyor design, equipment layouts, line balancing, and production throughput. Knowledge of sanitary design and food-safety requirements. Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. AutoCAD and Revit experience required. USDA-regulated facility experience are required. Ability to travel to client and project sites as needed.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
