This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineering professional with strong project management experience who is ready to make a meaningful impact in a distinctive community. The Senior Engineer will help lead and manage a variety of engineering and infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and completion in support of the Town's mission to provide outstanding public services to a community that values limited government. We're looking for someone who can bring technical expertise, project management leadership, and collaborative problem-solving to projects that shape the Town's infrastructure and enhance the community's heritage. We're looking for someone who: Has strong engineering experience and sound technical judgment. Demonstrates proven project management skills, including managing schedules, budgets, consultants, contractors, and deliverables. Can successfully coordinate multiple projects and priorities. Enjoys collaborating with departments, consultants, contractors, and community partners. Is committed to quality, accountability, and exceptional customer service. Can effectively communicate technical information to both professional and community audiences. Wants to contribute to projects with a visible and lasting impact on the Paradise Valley community. In return, the Town proudly offers: 3% employee salary increase effective 01/01/2027 (new salary range $110,610 - $147,480). 3% employee salary increase upon successful completion of the probationary period. To become our Senior Engineer, the Town requires: A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. 8 years of experience in design and construction, including 5 years of experience in project management. A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis. A valid class D Arizona driver's license. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Arizona or the ability to obtain the local state license within 6 months of hire.
