Job Description

Position Overview:
This position will perform civil engineering including hydrology/hydraulic analysis for various industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings and other projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate as part of a multi-discipline project team for the successful completion of projects of various sizes. Prepare engineering computations and estimates. Hydrology and hydraulic analysis with hydrology report preparation and updates. Development of civil engineering plans and designs. Drafting of designs utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. Prepare engineering design packages for agency review and approval. Prepare civil materials lists and work with cost estimators to establish project cost estimates. Analyze quotations and bids and make purchase recommendations. Analyze and control project costs, budgets and schedules. Conduct site investigations as needed. Coordinate with field personnel for design clarifications and solutions to issues arising during construction. Interface with clients as needed and document findings in report format. Ability to travel domestically and internationally for projects as needed. Available for other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
Required Education, Experience, Skills and Licensing A minimum of 5 years' related engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Registered PE in Arizona with the ability to obtain other states as needed. Experience preparing and editing construction documents and reports. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Navisworks and MS Office. Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects. Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be an initiative-taker, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills. Teach Engineers-In-Training civil leadership skills and provide presentations for civil engineering design. Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision. Valid passport or the ability to obtain.
Preferred Skills:
PE Bilingual English / Spanish abilities. Experience working on multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
