The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the successful planning, development, and pursuit of projects, with success defined as: Accurate Project Development, Client Relationship Support and Satisfaction, Profitable Project Outcomes, and Continuous Learning and Growth both Individually and Corporately. Under the direction of the Preconstruction Manager and Preconstruction Director, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support Preconstruction Managers throughout all phases of project pursuits and preconstruction services. Review construction drawings, specifications, Basis of Design (BOD) documents, and project requirements. Assist in developing conceptual budgets, estimates, and project cost analyses. Support value engineering efforts and evaluation of alternative design solutions. Assist with preliminary HVAC and plumbing system analysis and system selection. Review and redline mechanical and plumbing systems to support estimating efforts. Participate in constructability reviews and identify potential coordination issues. Assist with preparation of proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and interview materials. Support responses to RFIs, design questions, and technical requests. Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain budget pricing, equipment selections, and technical information. Participate in BIM coordination and model review activities utilizing Revit and related software. Attend design coordination meetings, job walks, and client meetings as required. Assist with documenting meeting notes, action items, and project records. Support project handoff efforts from preconstruction to operations teams. Learn and maintain proficiency in department software platforms and industry best practices. Support collaboration between engineering, estimating, operations, and design teams. Other duties as assigned. Systems & Project Exposure HVAC air distribution systems Chilled water and heating hot water systems Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems Air Handling Units (AHUs) Packaged rooftop units Medical and healthcare mechanical systems Plumbing systems Commercial and industrial mechanical systems Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and construction industry experience may be considered. Experience 0-3 years of experience in construction, engineering, estimating, BIM, or related fields. Internship experience in construction or engineering is highly desirable. Pay Range:
